MamiHlo is the consumer brand of Earth & Beyond Empire Limited, a food processing company in Ghana. Earth & Beyond Empire Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@mamihlo.org or on 059 617 8374.
What we collect
- When you browse. This website has no accounts, logins, analytics or advertising trackers. As with any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- When you use our contact form. The form doesn't send anything to us or store anything on this website. It prepares a message that opens in WhatsApp, or your email app, for you to review and send. We only receive what you choose to send. That's usually your name, phone number or email address, your message, the times you'd like us to call, and for Kebab Station bookings, your event date and order details.
- When you contact us directly by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media, we receive the details you share with us.
How we use your information
We use it to reply to you, take and deliver orders, arrange Kebab Station bookings, call you back at the times you've asked for, and keep the records our business needs and the law requires. We only send marketing messages if you've asked to hear from us, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information. Some services we rely on process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us there.
- Google provides the map on our contact page and the fonts on this website.
- Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest handle your information if you follow our links to them.
These companies may process information outside Ghana. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
Cookies
- Essential cookies are always on. Cloudflare may set security cookies that help tell real visitors from automated traffic, and we store your cookie choice in a cookie called
mamihlo_consentfor 180 days. - Optional cookies. The Google Maps embed on our contact page sets Google's own cookies, so we only load it if you choose Accept. If you choose Reject, the map stays off and you can still open our location in Google Maps.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address but doesn't set cookies.
- Your display setting. If you use the light and dark mode switch, your browser remembers your choice on your device, in local storage under
mamihlo_theme. It isn't a cookie, it's never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
You can change your choice at any time with , which is also at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and order records only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, order or booking, and for any longer period the law requires, such as for tax and accounting records.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date;
- delete information we no longer need;
- stop using your information for marketing;
- stop or limit how we use your information.
Email info@mamihlo.org and we'll respond within the time limits the Act sets. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who can see customer information. No website or messaging service is completely secure, so please don't send us sensitive information we haven't asked for.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
